Stamford Peace & PowerFORWARD:
Making changes in Many places
My work with Stamford Peace allowed me to travel to Haiti in June to help with an organization called PowerFORWARD. I now have the experience working with kids of all ages on the basketball court, teaching and training them, and learning more about the benefits of sports in other cultural settings.
Since my trip to Haiti, I have continued my work with Stamford Peace, only to help on a project bringing 2 of the boys from PowerFORWARD here to the states to further their schooling and basketball training. So many exciting events have happened, and I want to share them all with you!
